Na sednici lokalnog parlamenta odbornici su odlučivali o 12 tačaka dnevnog reda, između kojih i o dodeli priznanja povodom 23. septembra, Dana opštine Varvarin.

Zvanje „Počasni građanin opštine Varvarin“ ova opština dodeljuje po prvi put i, odlukom odbornika, ovo zvanje poneće Ministar unutrašnjih poslova Bratislav Gašić.
